Cleaning up Oak Creek Canyon was just one Mitzvah Day project last year. Check out this year's projects. Mitzvah (Good Deed) Day is a day when men, women, families, kids, teens, seniors, visitors, in fact, everyone, is invited to participate in an intergenerational, interfaith, spirit-led day of community service to organizations and individuals  in Sedona, Cottonwood, Village of Oak Creek, Camp Verde and surrounding communities.

Schedule for the Day

NOON – Check in at one of the following places; free T-shirts while supplies last

Sedona Public Library, 3250 White Bear Rd, West Sedona

Christ Lutheran Church, 25 Chapel Rd, off 179, Sedona

Cottonwood Recreation Center, 150 S. 6th St, Cottonwood

Camp Verde Community Library, 130 Black Bridge Rd, Camp Verde

12:30-3:30PM – Work at project sites

4:00PM – Arrive back at Rock of Ages Lutheran Church, 390 Dry Creek Rd or

Verde View Senior Apartments, 377 Hwy 260, Camp Verde, for pizza party and sharing your stories of the day.

Please bring non perishable foods for area food banks!
